The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was the largest and most ambitious climate legislation ever passed in the United States. After just one year, the IRA has changed the landscape for private investment and public policy, in the U.S. and around the world.

In this episode of Columbia Bizcast, listen to a recording of a recent CBS event featuring Brian Deese, MIT innovation fellow and former director of the National Economic Action Council at the White House.

Deese joined Vijay V. Vaitheeswaran, global energy and climate innovation editor at The Economist, to discuss the future of climate and clean energy policy in the wake of the IRA.

The event was organized by the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise and was part of the Climate Change and the New American Economy Speaker Series.
